These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of 3D printing and design services by 3D Print Tech, a trading name of Emilitek Enterprises Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), to customers ("you") in the United Kingdom.
By submitting an enquiry, placing an order, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
We offer three main service types:
All printing is carried out using FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) technology. We do not offer SLA, SLS, or other print technologies at this time.
Our standard pricing is as follows:
| Service | Rate | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Print a File (material cost) | £0.15 per gram of filament used | £8.00 per order |
| Handling & preparation | £5.00 per order | |
| Design & Print | £35.00 per hour (design + print) | — |
Volume discounts of 5–10% may apply to batch orders of 5 or more identical units. Discounts are applied at our discretion and confirmed in writing at the time of quote.
Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be subject to change due to material costs.
All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are additional and will be confirmed at the time of quote.
An order is placed when you submit an enquiry, receive a written quote from us, and confirm your acceptance of that quote by email or phone. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.
We will confirm receipt of your order and provide an estimated completion date. This date is an estimate and not a contractual guarantee, though we will always endeavour to meet it.
We require full payment before commencing work unless a separate payment arrangement has been agreed in writing.
For Print a File orders, you are responsible for supplying a printable digital file. We accept the following formats: STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP/STP.
You are responsible for ensuring your file is:
Where a file requires minor repair or adjustment to be printable, we may carry out this work and include a small preparation charge. We will notify you before doing so.
If a file is fundamentally unprintable and cannot be reasonably repaired, we will notify you and no charge will be made.
For Design & Print orders, we will produce a 3D model based on your written or verbal brief. Before printing commences, we will share a digital preview or render of the design for your approval.
Up to two rounds of revisions are included within the quoted hourly rate. Significant changes to the brief after design work has commenced may incur additional charges, which will be confirmed before work continues.
We reserve the right to decline to design content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
Customer-supplied files: You retain full ownership of any files you supply to us. By submitting a file, you confirm that you have the right to reproduce it and that doing so does not infringe any third-party rights. You grant us a limited licence to use your file solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
Designs we create for you: Where we design a 3D model on your behalf as part of a Design & Print order, ownership of the design files transfers to you upon receipt of full payment. Until payment is received in full, all design files remain the intellectual property of Emilitek Enterprises Ltd.
We reserve the right to use images of completed prints for our own portfolio, website, and promotional materials unless you specifically request otherwise in writing at the time of order.
Our typical turnaround for Print a File orders is 24–48 hours from approval and payment. Complex or large prints may take longer; we will advise at the time of quote.
Design & Print turnaround depends on the complexity of the design brief and will be confirmed when the quote is issued.
We use tracked UK delivery services. Delivery timeframes are those of the carrier and are outside our control once the parcel has been dispatched. We will provide tracking information where available.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, incorrect delivery addresses provided by you, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We take pride in the quality of our prints and aim to deliver parts that are clean, accurate, and fit for purpose. FDM 3D printing has inherent characteristics — including visible layer lines, slight dimensional tolerances, and surface texture — which are a normal feature of the process and not a defect.
If a part arrives damaged, substantially defective, or significantly different from the agreed specification, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs. We will offer one of the following remedies at our discretion:
We are not liable for defects caused by errors in customer-supplied files, unsuitable print settings requested by the customer, or normal FDM print characteristics.
Payment is due in full before production commences, unless a separate arrangement has been agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer and other methods as agreed at the time of order.
For Design & Print orders, a deposit may be required before design work begins. This will be specified in your quote.
Late or failed payment may result in your order being paused or cancelled. We reserve the right to retain any deposit paid where work has already commenced in good faith.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption.
We are not responsible for the end use of any printed parts. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the design and intended use of any part complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us in the first instance at [email protected] and we will do our best to resolve the matter promptly and fairly.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order will apply to that order. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
